Cue the “ooooh I’ve been waiting for this one!” because honestly… same. Was there a slight delay getting this one posted? Maybe. Was it completely worth the wait? Absolutely, just take one look at that vendor list!Between an insane cold front, thoughtful details and an high-energy party {disco ball included}, Savanah + Spencer’s big day at Woodbine Mansion was truly one for the books!I really have lost count the amount of times I have said "it's Texas, you just never know" when it comes to the weather and once again, she has proved me to be true. When your guest list mostly thinks the 50s are cold and the windchill isn’t supposed to get above 30, you can imagine the amount of calls I received that week 🤪 But honestly, a little cold weather wasn’t about to stop Sav + Spencer from having the most incredible day with their people.and that’s exactly what they did.From our first Planning Session, Savanah's vision and design board truly had me kicking my feet. Her color palette felt so uniquely her, bringing together rich jewel tones that set the perfect moody, modern tone for a mid-December evening. Her vision was simple: she wanted guests to feel the warmth {literally and figuratively} when walking into the reception tent but also have it preview an atmosphere that was going to keep the party going all night long.
From the moment guests arrived, it was clear the night was designed with them in mind. Welcome champagne set the tone, a live jazz trio carried cocktail hour, and a band that perfectly matched the crowd’s energy kept the dance floor full all night long. Every detail reflected Sav + Spencer’s personalities and their focus on creating an experience their guests wouldn’t forget.One thing became incredibly clear throughout the night: Sav + Spencer love their people deeply, and their people love them just as much. That love was on full display when Savanah was surprised with a choreographed dance from her closest family and friends, while drinks flowed and laughter filled the air as everyone reminisced about the memories leading up to the big day.As the celebration continued, the disco ball did not go to waste as Love + Happiness Band kept the dance floor packed. Every moment kept the party going well past the last toast and even when the “official” festivities wrapped up, the after-party carried the energy forward.Glancing through the pictures from their big day, you can feel the joy that surrounded them and it’s a wedding we know that we won’t forget. How lucky am I to be around such amazing couples and their people?! There’s nothing like it and this will always be a day we wish we could relive again.Cheer to The Clarksons!
